Nicki is an acupuncturist who offers thoughtful, individualized care grounded in TraditionalChinese Medicine.
With a strong interest in stress, anxiety and pain management, she brings both clinical skill and a gentle, compassionate approach to every treatment.
Her path into Chinese medicine began in 2000 after meeting a TCM doctor in Hong Kong who became her Qigong teacher. Over the years, she saw first hand how he helped hundreds of people improve their health. Later, when her infant son developed eczema, Nicki turned to TCM for his care, deepening her belief in its effectiveness. When the opportunity arose to change careers, she felt called to pursue Chinese medicine so she could help others in the same way.
Nicki graduated from the Tzu Chi International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver and continues to expand her clinical knowledge through ongoing mentorship with experienced practitioners in London and Hong Kong.
She believes that healing is most effective in a calm, respectful, and welcoming environment where patients feel seen and supported. She believes people are experts of their own bodies and tailors each treatment to the individual, drawing on acupuncture as well as complementary therapies such as cupping, gua sha, tuina, and moxibustion.
In addition to these amazing skills she will be taking the Doctor of TCM licensing exam next Spring.
